The chat
When you ask a question, the question and the conversation so far go to the chat's service in AWS (us-east-2). Claude on Amazon Bedrock then writes the answer, which may be processed in us-east-1, us-east-2 or us-west-2. The conversation is kept in your browser tab until you close it.
We keep each question and its answer for 90 days, to see what the documentation answers well and what it misses. Before they're stored, email addresses, phone numbers and anything that looks like a key are removed. This is best-effort, so please don't include personal or confidential information. With each one we keep the sources cited, the time, token counts and a random conversation ID made in your browser. We don't keep your IP address, browser, location or any cookie.
To limit how many questions one visitor can ask a day, the service counts a one-way hash of your IP address, made with a key that changes every day. Both the counts and the keys are deleted after 48 hours.
Nothing kept can be traced to you, so we can't find or delete a particular question. All of them are deleted after 90 days. The chat's service logs keep no questions or answers, and are deleted after a month.
